Wooden slats is and remains a popular alternative to wall panels. At least in the Netherlands. Wooden slats on a frame in combination with wall panels you combine the best of 2 worlds.
A loading space provided with lath-to-lath offers the advantage that there are more options for securing your load. We use good quality spruce slats, which are sanded on all sides and therefore offer a neat appearance.
For all models of commercial vehicles, we at Motexion pre-assemble the top slats on steel brackets. This creates a frame that can be easily and quickly mounted with rivets.
We offer 3 diffent versions with wooden slats at Motexion:

The entire loading space is provided with slats. Slatted frames for the top, in combination with loose slats for the bottom. And of course the panels for the sliding door.
Frames + Wall
Frames for the top and wall panels for the bottom half of the cargo space. This allows you to secure cargo at the top and the bottom is optimally protected against sliding cargo.
The slatted frames can of course also be ordered separately, if, for example, plastic panels are already fitted in the car at the factory.
Window protection provides protection against damage to the windows and has a burglar-resistant effect.
The windows of the cargo space are vulnerable parts for several reasons. Long or flying loads can damage or break the windows. Window security prevents this damage. In addition, it limits the view of the cargo space from the outside, so that it is less visible what is being transported in the cargo space. The grids also have a deterring effect on burglars.
The window grilles are available for both rear door windows and sliding windows, are made of steel and are finished with a dark powder coating. Depending on the commercial vehicle model, they have a rectangular or hexa-hole pattern.
They are easy to install in the rebate of the door with the supplied mounting materials.
Motexion provides protection of the wheel arches in various versions. In addition to good protection (avoiding scratches and thus rusting), the wheel arch protection also significantly reduces the driving noise of the tires.
These boxes are in most cases made of the same materials as the floor and, where necessary, in 18 mm sheet thickness. For some models we can also make them in ABS, so that they fit well with the plastic panels in the cargo space. In the interior, the wheel arch protectors form a whole with the floor. The wheel arches can be supplied rectangular or in a shape that follows the metal wheel arch of the car.
In some cases, we can provide the wheel arch with raised edges so that a tray is created on top, which can be used to place small material.

Partition walls offer important protection. This prevents the load from slipping into the cabin in the event of an accident or hard braking maneuver.
In addition, the partition wall provides additional comfort: In most cases, a Motexion partition wall offers more space for the driver. The seat can then be adjusted better, giving the driver a better seating position. A Secuwand fits perfectly to the cabin, which also has a good insulating effect and significantly reduces the noise from the cargo area. The driver’s cabin also heats up faster in winter or less cooling is lost when the air conditioning is on.
We have developed a Secuwand for many models. These are made of ABS (plastic). These walls have a gray color that matches the original upholstery of the car. The walls are available with or without window and can also be upholstered.
The ABS Secuwand is produced in series by means of vacuum forming, has a light weight and is very strong. The walls are tested according to the standard DIN 75410-3.
We supply polyester partitions for the other car models. The wall has a smooth white or gray finish on the cargo space side and is upholstered on the cabin side. These walls are available with or without a pane and are produced manually.
For a number of models we also have solutions to convert a closed van to a double cabin.
With the development of a sofa frame, complete with seat belts, upholstery and headrests, we have created a double cabin that can be supplied in different versions according to taste. For example, by adding luxury side and sliding door panels, other upholstery, electronics or awnings.
The necessary parts are developed and tested by us in accordance with the applicable regulations.

As an alternative to a wooden loading floor, a rubber mat with a non-slip pattern can also be chosen. This is also delivered to the size of the loading space and is loose in the loading space. The black mat is homogeneous and about 5 mm thick. Our mats are cut from TPE rubber. A composition that is much better for the environment and does not pose any health risks.
Due to its own weight, the mat remains in its place, so that no assembly is necessary. Roll out and ready!
A mat is a good solution for smaller commercial vehicles, where you often crawl on your knees. The mat is then more comfortable than the steel floor of the car, or a wooden floor. Many customers also use a rubber mat as an addition to a wooden floor. In this way, the car is optimally protected and the mat serves as an extra anti-slip layer. For example, courier services and parcel deliverers often opt for this solution.
Lining panels primarily serve to protect the side of the cargo space from falling loads. The damage caused by falling cargo is often expensive and full wall coverings best prevent this.
In addition to protection, lining panels also provide a neat finish of the cargo space and also have an insulating effect. Both in terms of sound and temperature.
The wall panels are being manufactured in 4 and 6.5 mm of high-quality European birch plywood with a light brown or light gray polypropylene coating. This durable coating does not discolour, is washable and has good chemical resistance to, for example, dilute acids, oils, fuel and most solvents.
Birch plywood is strong and flexible, allowing it to follow the curves of the car. Where possible, we use existing mounting holes in the chassis and doors and take into account the ventilation of the cargo space.
Wall cladding is standard available in 4 and 6.5 mm. In addition to this standard range, other types of wall coverings are available, for example 5 mm thick plywood with transparent coating (ECO) or 12 mm thick clear plywood with or without milled slotted holes. Ask for the possibilities.
And of course we also have fully plastic wall coverings in our range. This variant has the advantage that it provides a weight saving of 40%. Plastic wall cladding is made of polypropylene with a honeycomb structure on the inside.
A set of wall coverings always consists of the left + right side + the panels on the sliding door (s). Panels for rear doors or flap are optionally available. There are often windows, or ex-factory panels.
Of course we always supply all fasteners. Motexion thinks along with you in this too; we always try to keep the installation time as short as possible and use fasteners that match this.
At Motexion we do our best to make assembly as simple and fast as possible. We therefore invest a lot of time in smart mounting methods. Whenever possible, we use plastic press studs to mount panels so you don’t have to drill in the car. Other panels can be mounted with clips, making it easier and faster for the mechanic. The clips are clamped in the panels, fixed with a screw and can be closed with a cover, so that the mounting is covered.
For many models it is also possible to cover the roof. We use the same material for this as on the walls, so that the end result is a beautiful whole.

Especially internationally, there is increasing demand for a plastic alternative to wooden wall coverings. To meet this demand, we offer the option of ordering the wall coverings in full polypropylene. These gray sandwich panels are characterized by a very low weight, which in turn has a favorable effect on the payload of the commercial vehicle. The fit and mounting are the same as what you are used to from us. Ask for the possibilities.
A wooden floor protects the floor of the car and provides a stable and non-slip surface to transport cargo. The anti-slip layer, together with the lashing eyes, ensures that the load does not slide.
For the floors, we use high-quality plywood sheet materials, made from European birch wood. The top layer of the floor is provided with a wear-resistant and oil- and water-resistant anti-slip layer. Floor plates are manufactured as much as possible from one piece by us. This is possible up to a length of 3.76 m. Where a floor consists of 2 parts, it is provided with a stair connection so that it can be mounted seamlessly. The floor can also be glued and sealed all around. This makes the floor liquid-tight and easy to keep clean.
The thickness of the floor is 9 or 12mm. Both are available in brown and the 9mm also in gray. If desired, we adjust the color of the wall covering to the choice of the floor plate.
New in the range is a lightweight floor plate. By using a lighter type of wood, with a high-quality top layer, up to 40% weight can be saved. For use where high payload is important, but also, for example, in electric commercial vehicles.
“The difference is in the details,” we say at Motexion. The finishing of floor plates is of a high level. Apart from the fact that the floor plates are fitted with deepened lashing eyes as standard, the floor is milled at an angle when boarding, so that the load does not hit the side of the floor. In addition, the edges are painted in the color of the floor for a nice finish. Optionally, it is possible to finish the entrance on sliding and / or rear doors with an aluminum protective strip.
We are also happy to respond to customer specific wishes. For example, by milling aircraft rails in the floor, preparing installation fittings, or working with other materials.
To protect the sides of the car, we supply sidebars for all models.
These are made of thick-walled stainless steel and are available in various versions; both in matt and gloss, with or without steps. Various solutions are also available for the front and rear of your commercial vehicle to make the car more practical or cooler.
This aluminum bumper plate can be fitted on top of the bumper; is anti-slip, prevents scratches and gives a professional look.
Cargo securing system
In some countries it is already mandatory to secure all cargo heavier than 10kg in the cargo area. To prevent sliding in case of emergency braking. It seems a matter of time before this is also prescribed in our country. At Motexion we also have a large number of accessories available to secure cargo in the cargo area; various types of rails for on the wall or in the floor, but also extra lashing eyes, telescopic rods and lashing belts are available to complete the loading space ready for use.
Over the years, Motexion has often come up with solutions for customers that were not available in our standard range. This has created a product range that is difficult to capture in chapters. Both cosmetically and practically, we have many accessories to make your commercial vehicle more beautifull, safer or practical.
